A little bit about me......
I'm Susanna. My career has largely been in customer centric roles and for much of that time, in retail. Matching customer needs and requirements to my love of product has now moved a stage further. What started as helping family and friends with ideas for their homes and making small changes has evolved into a business for me. In fact my mother says my love of homes and interiors started when I was 3 when I always wanted to look at the bathroom in other people’s houses! And in those days, it was all about the colour of the bathroom suite!
After leaving my last job to start Home Review, I started with my own home (mainly decluttering, sorting and organising as well as re-arranging furniture and possessions) and realised that the process I had gone through and had experienced for myself and how it made me feel, would be valuable to offer to others. I now feel I can bring a better understanding to help you too. There is no “one size fits all” solution - each person, each home and each set of circumstances are all unique, different and require tailoring to suit you. My approach is to work with you, not for you, in a non-prescriptive way, offering practical solutions. I can offer as much or as little help as you would like. Plans, ideas and timetables are worked on together. Wherever possible, I encourage recycling, up-cycling and re-purposing - only putting into landfill what can't be given to charity or recycled.
I am creative with an eye for detail and enjoy searching for practical solutions. My lateral thought has often been commented on and together with my spacial awareness, I see layouts and formulate ideas. A sense of what “feels” right is also an important part of the process. I love colour, textures and design but I do not impose my style on you. Your personality, way of life, lifestyle and your possessions all need to be taken into account, in any changes that may be made.
I am open and honest as well as being approachable, reliable and organised. I respect the importance attached to privacy, discretion and confidentiality in working with clients. I will listen to you, offer suggestions, generate ideas and be practical and hands-on with you but ultimately it is your home not mine and that is the basis of what I do and can offer you.

Environmental considerations e.g. position of furniture with radiators and limiting what is thrown out as opposed to given to charity.
I use packing paper made from unprinted newspaper offcuts rather than bubble wrap.
