May 2019 - I wanted to sell my town house but having lived there for twenty-five years, I knew it needed decluttering and staging before I invited estate agents to see it.

If I hadn’t had Susanna’s help it would have taken forever or maybe I would have given up!  Also it wouldn’t have looked as good at the end of the job.

Apart from the contents of my filing cabinet and my huge collection of photos (which I wanted to do myself), Susanna did it all. We went through every item.   Susanna packed everything into boxes according to what was to happen to them:  charity, family or my new home.   She put furniture that was not to be used for staging in the garage.

Susanna used a recycling company rather than sending things to landfill.   She knew which charity would collect books for their shops, which would collect furniture etc.  She sourced what was needed for staging the house from charity shops, eBay, etc. saving the planet and saving me money.

Susanna is efficient, kind, helpful and thoughtful, always asking if I had, had enough for today and to be careful not to fall over all the black bags on the floor.   She was always ready to agree when I wanted things a certain way, or changed my mind.   She is physically strong when it comes to lifting and has great stamina.

She obviously loves her work and puts her whole self into it.  I happily recommend her.

November 2019 - Susanna, your help has been invaluable.  I really don’t know what I would have done without you.  I think your Home Staging helped sell the house, especially the dinosaur curtains and bedding!  All the children and their parents who viewed the house fell in love with them.

Packing my belongings and clearing the house saved me a considerable amount of money as did buying things from charity shops for the staging of the house.

I loved your attitude to sustainability, recycling and charity.  You had so many useful contacts, took responsibility for everything and just asked me continuously what my wishes were.

Susanna has been very helpful in organising our donations to some local charities. Her knowledge was very valuable, and her kindness and availability made the process easy.  Her professionalism, expertise and attentiveness to the situation made for an overall excellent experience.

I knew my tired beige sitting room needed attention and a friend recommended Susanna.   She looked around thoughtfully and listened carefully as we talked through what we thought was needed.….    Over the next few weeks she found and bought some lovely cushions and a beautiful throw for the sofas (all on sale or return but I kept them all!); two armchairs were brought down from bedrooms and re-upholstered in a great fabric I could never have discovered on my own.  New lampshades really improved the lighting, family photos were re-arranged into interesting displays.   I really liked it that Susanna worked with me and sussed out my style and didn’t impose.   A coffee table ordered and delivered turned out not as expected but it was no problem to return it.    I definitely plan to ask Susanna to tackle another problem area!

Susanna has absolutely transformed my flat.  In my initial consultation we discussed what I wanted to achieve.  I knew I needed a complete declutter, advice on furniture layout, curtains and blinds, colour schemes, and I also wanted to create a workstation in my large kitchen.  Susanna went from room to room, clarifying the function of each room and looking carefully at the room's features.  She moved furniture around to try new layouts, opened cupboards to discuss the contents and gave me amazing ideas that I would never have thought of.  In between sessions, I had tasks to complete.  Susanna has a fantastic sense of style combined with a practical and logical mindset.  She is also extremely hands-on.

My home is now decluttered, looks beautiful and functions well.  I cannot recommend Susanna highly enough for any home requiring a declutter, a re-style or a revamp.

As I live abroad, Susanna was an invaluable "person on the ground" to deal with all the activity preparing my house for rental.  This included:

Initially disposing of the remaining unwanted items after the previous owner moved out - organising charities to collect furniture and small items as well as recycling wherever possible.

Monitored the job specification with the decorators, plumber and handymen and was on-site regularly and whenever needed.

She also insisted I replaced the carpet which I initially thought was un-necessary but now I see that this was a wise decision. She researched all the options and having left it to her to decide what was needed, she found a great hard-wearing option at a very good price and supervised the installation.

She sourced the right size and design of cloakroom hand basin, oven and hob, new wall lights, fixtures and fittings.

Importantly also, was the choice of colour for all the interior walls (bearing in mind the house was North facing) and also the exterior. Both colours she chose worked very well and maximised the light available.

Researching local Letting Agents and their Ts and Cs for me to consider my options.

I was impressed with her diligence and knowledge on what was needed to let the property.

Her regular communication with me, via email and telephone, ensured I was kept up-to-date on all aspects of the house preparation, which I appreciated. Thank you.

Susanna came to my house when I was in the midst of swapping two bedrooms over (and failing at it!).  She took charge of it all and somehow managed to swap the two bedrooms round by packing and unpacking, decluttered and styled all in just two days.  Her no nonsense, can do approach worked perfectly and I would highly recommend.  She was also a pleasure to have around.
